Astro Admin — Going-Live Checklist 2026-10-14 — Astro Admin setup

00:00:00 — Going-Live Checklist
Welcome to the Agentic Ecom Astro Admin guide to going-live checklist. We're using the Sync Comms storefront to show the current controls. We'll review the workflow with previews, without saving changes to this live store.

00:00:13 — Confirm Magento and storefront ownership
Start with a configured Magento store and the deployed Astro storefront. Check catalogue assignment, prices, stock, shipping, tax, payment methods and email delivery in Magento. Astro Admin controls presentation and the copied storefront data. Both sides need to be ready for a customer journey.

00:00:34 — Confirm the three presentation layers
Review Structural Presets for every required page type, especially header, footer, product, cart and checkout. Confirm the intended site-wide style and theme. Check your edited layouts on desktop and mobile before activating them. Keep a known working version so an intended design change has a recovery path.

00:00:55 — Pull the required data
Refresh the relevant Magento snapshots, then sync Global Data, C M S, Products and URL Rewrites in Astro Admin. Refresh Schema Discovery where your integration needs updated fields. Review the results and store context. Counts should make sense for your catalogue; they do not have to match this demonstration store.

00:01:16 — Build and review the live pages
Use Prebuild Pages to build the intended storefront pages and wait for completion. Review failures and cache freshness. Check a category, product, C M S page and known redirect. Confirm the storefront domain and email links point to the intended customer-facing addresses.

00:01:36 — Test complete customer journeys
Before launch, run an authorised test of sign-in, account recovery, search, add to cart and checkout, including your payment return path. Check confirmation and alert emails where used, plus mobile navigation. Coordinate any Headless Lock or redirect change only after these checks pass. This video is a launch checklist, not evidence that Sync Comms has undergone those transactions during recording.

00:02:02 — Your next steps
To put this into practice, confirm the magento and astro configuration, sync and build the intended pages, complete customer-journey checks before launch. Test the complete result on your own staging storefront before publishing. You can follow the written Astro Admin guides at user guides dot Agentic Ecom dot net.

Use this as your end-to-end runbook. Follow it top to bottom for a first launch; for routine updates, jump to Day-to-day updates.

  1. Sign in to the Agentic Admin at /admin on your storefront domain.

  2. Sync Global Data — store name, currency, menu, contact details.

  3. Sync CMS — your content blocks and pages.

  4. Sync Products — the catalogue (and Sync URL Rewrites for SEO URLs).

  5. Schema Discovery — only if you use custom attributes.

  6. Pick a Structural preset — or build your own in the page editor. Set your header, footer and product-page variants.

  7. Apply a Style preset — the shape/texture language.

  8. Apply a Theme — pick a ready-made theme, or build your own with Auto colour from your brand colours, then Apply it.

  9. Prebuild — bake every page.

  10. Clear cache (and CDN purge if applicable).

  11. View Storefront and check, on desktop and mobile: homepage, a category, a product page, the header and footer, and a CMS page (e.g. contact).

Content

Homepage, category and product pages render with real data (not empty blocks).

Navigation

The menu, header links and footer links all work and point to the right pages.

Responsive

Switch to mobile — layouts stack sensibly; nothing overflows.

Theme contrast

Text is readable on every background in both light and dark.

Forms

Any contact/quote forms submit and arrive in Magento.

SEO URLs

Product and category URLs match Magento (Sync URL Rewrites ran).
  1. Make the change in Magento (catalogue/CMS) or the Agentic Admin (look/layout).

  2. Run the matching sync (only the one that changed).

  3. Prebuild.

  4. Clear cache and hard-refresh to verify.
