Welcome to the Agentic Ecom S M T P Email Delivery Admin guide. We'll walk through the main setup screens and the checks to make before using the module. This guide assumes the extension is already installed.

00:00:13 — Open settings and choose scope
Start in Magento Admin and open Stores, Configuration. Choose SMTP. Check the Scope selector before editing. Use the appropriate website or store view where the setting supports it. The screen values here are a demonstration; enter the settings and service details that belong to your own store.

00:00:33 — Enable SMTP at the right scope
Enable the module for the intended store scope. Prepare an SMTP account and an approved sender address from your own email provider. Provider charges and account requirements are separate from the extension. Keep credentials concealed when sharing screenshots or recordings of this screen.

00:00:53 — Configure an encrypted connection
Choose a provider preset or enter its host and port. Confirm the values with your provider. Select the required encryption and authentication method. STARTTLS requires successful TLS negotiation before sending credentials or message data. For Google or Microsoft OAuth, choose the supported OAuth authentication and enter your own application details.

00:01:16 — Check sender and delivery settings
Review the sender override, Return Path and any global copy recipients. Your provider must permit the sender addresses you use. Check Magento's contact email configuration as well. A copied recipient receives customer messages too, so use those settings deliberately and test them with disposable staging messages.

00:01:37 — Send a deliberate test after setup
When your account details are ready, enter Test Email Recipient and choose Send Test Email. That button sends a real message. Save OAuth credentials before testing OAuth. Check provider acceptance and inbox delivery separately; a successful application response or email log does not guarantee that the message reached the inbox.

00:01:59 — Save and verify your setup
When your required settings are complete, use the screen's Save control and wait for Magento's confirmation. Then reopen the record or configuration and check the saved values at the intended scope. If the storefront still shows earlier settings, refresh the relevant caches. Test your own configuration before using it with customers.
